THE DARKNESS AND THE LIGHT — The story behind the vision. As a child, I was afraid of the dark. Yet, strangely, I was also fascinated by it. Darkness held something unknown, something I feared but felt compelled to explore. Years later, I discovered photography. And gradually, I found myself returning to that same darkness — this time, willingly. Through light painting, darkness became a space of discovery — a place where light could reveal not only the beauty of the human form, but something deeper about the way I see and feel. I never wanted to conquer darkness. I wanted to overcome my fear of it. Perhaps that is why, after all these years, I keep returning to this form of photography. Because somewhere between darkness and light, I found a part of myself.
